The story of haus
Haus was formed when our founder and design enthusiast, Lizzie, had a vision to bring stylishly simple products that stand out from the crowd to the UK.
Our name comes from a Germanic word meaning house. Your house is the container of your dreams, memories, and life experiences. It shapes you as much as you shape it. And that’s our enduring goal – to make homes and people look and feel good by distributing extraordinary pieces that celebrate everyday life.

We love the work we do, we have developed an environment which is built on a foundation of kindness, respect and a passion for the brands and people we work with. Haus is a true North East England success story, as the brands we are partnered with have grown in the UK - so have we. From a 3PL warehouse solution to our own purpose built site spanning some 15,000 sq ft. With a team we are so proud of, that has grown from three to fifteen.
Haus has achieved a turnover of £6 million to date. We have achieved this by working closely with small boutiques to some of the largest premium retailers in the UK as well as managing direct-to-consumer marketing. Haus are experts in brand management, logistics, customer service and selecting brands in growth categories to partner with from across Europe. With years of business knowledge and expertise behind our team, our ambition is to remove the headache from logistics. We’re all about building lasting relationships and getting into the heads of the people we do business with.
Nici | Chief Operating Officer
We recognise many of our clients have challenges regarding the impact of Covid and Brexit. That’s why Haus places large orders, organises our own freight and border clearance. We hold the stock in our own UK warehouse which provides limitless space. We use our own haulage solutions for large retailer deliveries and the most reliable UK postal services for smaller parcels with a 99.8% delivery success rate. If the product is in stock, we strive to deliver the next day. Haus is unique in that we purchase all of our stock upfront and we manage all UK sales, including delivery and returns. We also have a dedicated b2b store which is linked to industry-leading inventory management and despatch software.
We also like to think our name represents how we behave internally – it’s under our very roof where our team comes together to distribute joy.
Rob | Head of Marketing
We take brand management seriously. We tailor bespoke marketing plans to deliver our partner-brands objectives within the UK. From maximising sales to storytelling and educating UK consumers. With over 25 years of experience the brand team at Haus are perfectly placed to deploy campaigns across the marketing mix in both traditional and digital marketing channels. We have a laser focus to make data-led decisions based on retail data and trends.
Ash | Account Manager
My role looks after the growth and management of my brand portfolio. With a focus on maximising sales and being the key contact for our retailers as well as the brands themselves, working closely with our marketing and finance departments to plan our sales and marketing strategies for the year.
Sam | Operational Excellence
To take the headache out of operations, you need to make the complex simple, and the mundane enjoyable. We do this by using the latest software, employing the right people and ensuring the correct checks and balances are in place.
Louise | Marketing Manager
The Marketing Manager is responsible for the growth and management of our B2C brands, producing outstanding content and reporting to support the wider sales/brand team. Support the business to deliver our brand plans and sales strategies.
James | Warehouse Manager
The Warehouse manager oversees the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of goods. Responsible for the people, processes and systems in order to ensure goods are received and dispatched appropriately, and that productivity targets are met.
